The most popular disc golf discs and other products in the first quarter of 2023

Winter has been a challenging time sales-wise in many sectors. The same goes for disc golf sales. Simon Lizotte’s transition from Discmania to MVP is clearly visible in our sales statistics in popularity of products manufactured by MVP.

At least Discmania, who had to say goodbye to Simon, doesn’t seem to have been left behind, as the brand took the first place in our brand sales chart thanks to its new Discmania Fanatic bag line and the successful new Discmania S-line collection. Of course, MVP Disc Sports will benefit from strongly increased sales, as it also manufactures Axiom Discs and Streamline Discs.

Simon Lizotte’s first signature disc made by MVP was the Axiom Discs Eclipse Hex Leapin’ Lizottl’ Team Series. It was our best-selling product in the first quarter, slightly ahead of the other MVP product Simon has endorsed, the Glitch.

The Most Popular Disc Golf Discs and Other Products Q1/2023

The chart below lists the most popular disc golf discs and other products in the first quarter of 2023. As for other products, bags made it to our list. It should be obvious that the top two products by Axiom and MVP Disc Sports is thanks to the visibility brought by Simon Lizotte. As a fun detail, the PG Custom product Prodigy Disc 400 Spectrum FX-2 Väinö Mäkelä – The Mullet also made it to the list of the most popular disc golf discs.

Top Disc Golf Brands in Q1/2023

Discmania returned to the top spot of best-selling brands after no less than five quarters dominated by Prodigy Disc. Discmania took the place right before Axiom Discs, whose highest sales quarter in history, both here and probably worldwide, brought the brand to the second place. As mentioned, MVP Disc Sports manufactures Axiom Discs. Third on the list is Innova, whose sales popularity continues to be stable. MVP came fourth on the list, which is a higher ranking than usual.
