We asked our Team Powergrip players about their favourite discs. Putting practice is a crucial aspect of competitive players’ training as they prepare for the tournament season. In this article, we present the favourite disc golf putters of our team players in February 2024.

  • Tapani Aulu: Pa3 300 Soft. The plastic is pleasantly grippy, and in use, it molds perfectly into a concave shape.
  • Robin Villman: Pa3 400 Glow Archer. It holds any line you put it on!
  • Henna Blomroos: S-Line P2. A versatile disc for throwing. It can be used for hyzers, straight shots, and anhyzer throws.
  • Väinö Mäkelä: 400 Glow Pa3, A longtime favorite. A perfect flight.
  • Jenni Engström: D-Line P2 for putting and Tactic for throwing. The D-Line P2 feels comfortable in the hand, and the plastic has a nice tackiness. The Tactic is an excellent forehand approach disc, as it maintains its angles well.
  • Kari Vesala: For putting, KC Pro Aviar, for throwing: Eclipse Proxy and Eclipse Envy.
  • Jesse Nieminen: Berg (x), because the disc doesn’t glide far but stops quickly when landing on the ground.
  • Tuukka Renkman: Gold Pure.
  • Janne Hirsimäki: DD Classic Blend Warden.
  • Tuomas Hyytiäinen: Lux Link. Feels comfortable in the hand and flies far.
  • Silva Saarinen: Anode, because it is straight and therefore easy to putt from a distance.
  • Joona Tuomela: Discmania’s Premium Sensei. Fits comfortably in the hand due to its low profile. Offers a pleasantly straight flight and a reliable slight fade.
  • Juho Parviainen: Omega SS. Fits perfectly with your grip and putting style due to its soft plastic and straight flight characteristics.
  • Onni Arminen: Sense Orbit Hope. The plastic and profile are perfect for my putting.
  • Iida Lehtomäki: Golor Glow Origo because it is the straightest putter I’ve ever thrown.
  • Eveliina Salonen: DX Aviar. A good and simple putter.
  • Eljas Saarinen: Basic Sparta. The feel of the Sparta is perfect in my hand. The flight is reliable and extremely glidey, making it the best fit for my putting style among all the Prodiscus putters.
  • Niko Rättyä: Butter. Feels good, excellent glide and stability.
  • Henrik Johansen: Zero Hard Macana – I like that it’s overstable, and the disc’s profile fits well in my hand. It’s like a lower version of the Dagger.
